Finvara The King's Gambit Irish Whiskey (750ml)

Launched in 2023, Finvara's inaugural release, The King's Gambit, is produced at an undisclosed distillery located in the historic Fort of Dealgan on the Castletown River in Ireland. Crafted by master distiller David F. Hynes using ingredients from Ireland and triple distilled in copper pot stills, the whiskey is then aged for several years in carefully selected bourbon barrels. The bottle's label features a forest king, which not only alludes to the flora and fauna of the coastal region but is also the king of the mystical kingdom of Daoine Sidhe from Irish folklore. In addition to whiskey, this king has a penchant for chess, which gave rise to the name for this new release. Bottled at 43%.
