The owners, Caroline (Caroline's Fine Wines) and Ray Kilian, own a small 3.5 ha in Baardskeerdersbos, near Elim on the southern Cape coast. The vineyard was planted in 2004. Whilst the viticulture is done by Caroline and Ray, the grapes are crushed and vinified by Dirk Human of Black Oystercatcher.
The blend is made up of 50% Sauvignon Blanc and 50% Semillon, harvested together as a field blend. It spent 8 months in wood.
Sold as a case of 6 x 750ml bottles.
